While I appreciate that this isn't the best source, thought it was worth a share. Rudiger would be 32-years-old. Given that we have a relatively young squad, a bit of experience at the back wouldn't go amiss. Especially if we're playing with 3 CBs, depending on the next manager. Personally think it would be amazing to get someone of his pedigree in, if it fits within our financial capabilities (let's face it we've all re-evaluated what that is with recent signings). I know we've been burned by over-the-hill worldies in the past (Davids anyone?) - however Rudiger still seems fit and competitive. Might help get some other quality names in.
