Hatred is never positive. It always destroys.
Meeting hatred with more hatred is not going to solve problems. It exacerbates them.
We must meet hatred with quiet rational determination, always in control of our emotions.
I am not a believer but turning the other cheek and loving your enemy in an effort to quell their hatred seems a much more positive response. Eye for eye, tooth for tooth justice just leads to conflict escalation.
