Meanwhile, I have a feeling the matter switched to "terrorist" as this gives the old bill a lot longer to get their evidential ducks in a row in a matter with enormous political cache. Which makes me wonder if this is the delay. Because if the bloke won't play ball, and is spilling his guts by way of making this all political, then they are going to struggle to do that. They need him to pay his part in the mental health card. We should have a name by now. That much is a definite.

Ironically, it would be, in this day and age of diversity and all that jizz, actually be easier to paint a Right Winger as being paranoid because, after all, you must be insane to not accept that diversity is our strength.

The likelihood is that if it is motivated the man is either mentally ill or extreme LGBT / trans which would probably put him politically in the Greens, which definitely falls within ‘loony left’ and something that would make it interesting for Zak Polanski to wriggle out of.
Reading literature on the means of production and redistribution of wealth doesn’t take you there I’m afraid. In fact where did all this stuff about ‘communist literature’ come from?
The time lag here on a charge is getting ridiculous.

The " communist literature " came from the police search. I agree it's such an outdated word they may have used it to avoid saying far left, maybe he had The Socialist Worker in the newspaper rack.

He's been done-up like a kipper, probably with a side of scrambled eggs and cheese.
 
From what is in the public domain there is no mitigation of sentence other than a guilty please.

This appears to be a calculated planned assassination so lets not have any nonsense about his mental state etc.

I suspect all efforts will be made to bury anything that might link it to the rhetoric about Reform from senior MP's from TTK down.

Yep, I too thought he was a hairy biker lookalike. Altogether very strange business - he just doesn't look like a demented, vicious and sadistic killer.

What on earth makes a bloke drive 300 miles to deliberately murder a weak and feeble 79 year old lady. Something very disturbing going on inside his head. I almost feel sorry for him, but the calculating way he went about his attack immediately tells me otherwise.

I hope he receives a very harsh sentence.
