What Andrew did was wrong.

However, claims are being made against him that are unlikely from my perspective......it's a 'believe all women' situation and while I think that picture does suggest he was having sex with this girl....it's also true that she was part of that system.

It's complex and wrong but some girls, when things are going well for them (at least in their head) will go along with it. It makes the situations more grey than people like to admit.

He's still very much in the wrong though.

Naive, ignorant , badly advised ( like Ethelread ),

how can a high profile Royal believe they will get away with such behaviour ? behaviour that goes against the rules of the job ? was he thick or what ?

Personally I think he's of average intelligence like his other brothers, but he's extremely entitled (understandable if annoying given the upbringing) and he's also very arrogant.

But footballers don't live from birth being indulged, told and shown that they are better than everyone else and are entitled to do whatever they want at any time like he was.
It's blatantly obvious to you, me and everyone else but not to him. At least it wasn't.

I am not sure without proof what he has actually done, not that I believe the media or government anyway..

I don't think our late Queen would have approved this.

I think what happened to her is a classic example of exploitation by money/class.

She came from a background where making that money and lifestyle offered attracted her. It was sexual exploitation and essentially she was paid to be Epstein's brass for hire and it's done at an age where proper consent is in doubt and the authorities should be involved......but it's ignored because it's rich people and until someone brings a case nothing happens.....and the rich spread the cash to shut lips.

This happens every day in London with the rich Arabs and so on. We still have grooming gangs operating and there's still only back covering interest from the authorities.

She was below the age of consent in America, where at least one encounter was alleged to have happened. That's Statutory rape of a minor. If it can be proved in court.
The fact hush money was also paid, doesn't look good.

I think we all know what the score was with Andrew, and I think we all agree he was abusing his position, and personally I'm happy she got ten million out of him......a fool and their money are easily parted.

But I don't regard him as a paedo.
