Anan Khalaili

I agree, but it's not you or I I'm concerned about. If you see the reactions on this video, and the comments, I think you'll get a flavour of what I mean.
Teams like Brighton will virtue signal, and, sorry to say, so will an obvious element of our own supporters.

His Nationality, race or religion are irrelevant to me. We do not need bigots amongst our fanbase, just get behind the players and the team.

I’m only interested in their personal behaviours. I have no control over where I’m from and neither does Khalaili. The types of signings I would be against are the likes of Mason Greenwood or Luke McCormick because of their character and/or individual actions.

I will make Anan Khalaili extremely welcome and hope that he is a superb player for us.

It looks like the player is stuck between a rock and hard place.

I've watched about 20 mins of the video. For the benefit of others. The player is a Palestinian who was born and lives in Isreal.

He holds Israeli citizenship and is part of the 1948 Palestinian ancestry; the small percentage of Palestinians who were not kicked out in 1948.

Personally the only problems will come from people who want to use it to stir up trouble.

I just cannot imagine caring either way where somebody is from to be honest. I'd welcome a new signing from Mordor if he could get Stand-Larsen scoring.
You say that but I remember when we signed that Balrog. Was supposed to be a fiery character who could whip in hot crosses. In the end he couldn’t even take on and beat some old dude one on one. The abuse he got was something else

Stick a pointy hat on Jonny Williams and he'd be quite hobbit like.

I recommend people watching the Italian podcast video ASCPFC put up.

I think there could be trouble ahead after we sign this guy. I still hope we sign him though.

Always dangerous to rely on YouTube clips , but one thing it does confirm is that Khalaili can use his left foot reasonably well.
Munoz has been great for us, but I don't think I've ever seen him kick the ball.with his left foot.

Again though, it isn't us.
To cut to who I'd have a concern about: it's the HF.

I have good friends who are Holmesdale Fanatics, not all of them share my take on life or political persuasion but we respect each others views and tbh don’t mix politics with Palace, and that’s just how it should be.

I accept that may not be reflected across the board but then again I dare say there are a mixture of views amongst the HF anyway. Not something I’m going worry about, let’s just keep politics out of football.

That’s true 🤣 although we’ll let him off

The greatest player in our history had a right foot that was for standing on only, king Kenny of Sansom, Geoff Thomas another of our greatest ever players was hopeless with his right
