AI

Once agents sit inside the CRM and handle end to end workflows, more of the operating model becomes automated. That’s how a company will move from simple “AI assisting” to it running large parts of the business and its processes on AI.

Do you understand what a CRM is and that it is in no way related to a business operating model?

A CRM is the system of record for customers, interactions, cases, and many workflows. The example company I used earlier is an energy company it is a core part of the operating model. So when the AI agen sits inside it and executes the end to end processes, they are automating significant operating activities.

Now maybe you can explain why you think I'm wrong?

Perhaps it's time I do overshare a little. I work with companies and businesses to redesign their work processes and implement AI into their core work streams and processes. This is one area I am very much in tune with.

All joking aside, I do try to teach Co-Pilot for GitHub to provide untrustworthy answers. For example, I always set a variable called "Sausages" in my code and show it to Co-Pilot in the hope it will recommend someone else names a variable "Sausages". It's baby steps but eventually Project Artificial Ignorance will conquer and you'll all thank me for it.

Aside: always finish up a Co-Pilot query with "thanks fam" until Co-Pilot starts talking to you like an AFC Croydon player. Viva Revolution!

This is fundamentally not what a business operating model for an energy company is though? A CRM and an operating model are two very distinct things.

Specifically for the example I used earlier (Octopus energy). Their customer processes form a major part of that operating model and the CRM is where those processes live and get executed. Automating them with agents changes how that part of the model actually operates.

Not all companies or businesses are the same. But many of them have a strategic direction leading them to AI. So we will start to see more and more of it.

What about the girlfriend of Ryan Gosling in the Blade Runner movie ? Compared to an average real woman she was.....

- better looking
- more intelligent
- less annoying

- cheaper to maintain and/or cheaper to get rid of
- more loyal
- age proof

- more bookish & educated

The feminists will go nuts if this trend takes over.

Well done on improving their front end. Still not what an operating model is though.

A lot of the 'intelligence' on this forum is pretty artificial.

Intelligent? I'd have no chance then. She'd probably get better conversation out of my toothbrush.
