the task of playing so many games with a smallish squad is starting to take it's toll especially as the pitches get heavier and the weather colder. I totally agree that we don't have anyone who can really fill Sarr's role. The odd thing is that this season he actually choosing not to run in behind defences as much and is often laying the ball off. However, it is the threat of his pace that forces his opponents to sit deeper or and not get too tight that allows him the time to do this. Fast players with good skills, however, are sort after and don't come cheap.

Conor Gallagher's name has popped up again. He'd help with the lack of goals from midfield but even if it's true surely he'd be an either/or with Johnson as his wages would be high.

I think if we get him he will play CF. Boey, yes, and Bobb on loan would do me, i am hoping we have told some porkies and Riad and Doucoure are training.

on Afcon duty so can't see that happening.
 
Seams to be a lot of chat around 3 names, Bobb, Johnson and Boey. What a window that would be!

Not sure if the strength of gossip means anything however.
 
Seeing a lot of click bait today stating that Glasner won't stay unless we get Champions League football next season - I'd have fallen off my chair laughing if anyone had said that this year but it's a real possibility atm.
Hopefully Glasners calling the boards bluff, Parish turns into Santa and we actually end up signing some decent squad ready players.
Stranger things have happened....apparently....somewhere!!

In that case I'd have him back provided the fee is reasonable. He's as good a player as we're likely to get and would contribute some goals from midfield which we really need.
