Have to admire the blind optimism of some on here.

On what grounds can anyone predict a win after our two previous games against them?

We just don't have a clue how to use all the possession we've been getting lately - just the same old slow build up and a cross into the box. So predictable. If the manager was any good he would work on a system change to effectively use the talent he has, but no, stick to the same old in the hope that, somehow, it will come good.

I very much fear tomorrow will be the end of our European venture.

At Selhurst it suited Larnaca to sit deep but now they have to go try to win the game. If we can recapture our counter attacking form we can exploit more space at the back. I think a 1 or 2 goal win for us especially if Mateta starts.

I dont think Larnaca will attack, they will sit back, watch us pass across the CBs and try to hit us on the break or a set piece, that's what i would do if i were them

If we play in Cyprus like we played vs Leeds and Larnaca at Selhurst, we simply deserve to be knocked out. Wonder if OG will keep on playing square pegs in round holes or vice versa? Or if he will make a change for his only plan (A) and surprise the opposition. The way we performed against 10 Leeds players was a shambolic affair. Our defenders seemed scared and lost with the ball, just played it sideways/backways - or mishit for a Leeds player to pick it up. As I see it - an open affair at Cyprus, the first goal of the match very important.

Munoz may start so one less square peg , they will enjoy playing in the sun and warm , surprising how much that lifts players , we score early then we should get it done , Larnaca are well orginised and most of them have played for better teams hence why there hard to breakdown , but as I said early goal and they will leave gaps

Currently in Larnaca. Oh the irony of it....Its neither sunny or warm. Likely to rain up until close to kick off. Shorts and suntan lotion remain firmly in the suitcase.

Not that cystitis again 🙄 , it is such a shame that we go in what really IMO is a massive game, Europa league on the horizon with such a poor state, manager only interested in his system, Parish, who i am a big fan, not seeming to, either, not act or cant act, so disappointing, lets just hope we get though to the next round, however it happens.
