To be honest I’m pretty happy no Palace players are in the England squad. I’d rather none of our players went away for a set of meaningless internationals and worked on the training ground as there is a lot to work to do

Although I love much of what he does and some of the passes he makes, I think he has been a bit patchy so far this season, so I’m not sure he is currently worth a place. As a Palace fan I too am not too disappointed at his omission if it means he stays fresher for us.

I also wonder if he is bit too self effacing compared to some of the up themselves tossers who regularly feature in Tuchel’s squads.

Definitely agree, last night was better but still made mistakes that would have been costly against better opposition. We shall see on Sunday. I like Timber but not sure they work as a two so well?

Tuchel is a massive disappointment, both his squad selections and tactics, as far as I'm concerned. I was more interested and excited to watch other nations in the world cup that had Palace players playing for them. I wanted France with Mateta, Lacrois and of course Olise to win.
