Chelsea predictions.

A different proposition to Southampton and following a surprising defeat tonight against Ipswich,Chelsea will be highly motivated to get their season back on track against us, following a dip in form.

Challenging fixture and a draw is anticipated, 2-2.

Would take that all day long.

A win against Chelsea will be a great start to 2025 - best wishes to all. As has been said they have been wounded in Suffolk.

Have to hope that our team - seeming to discover good form - can continue the good work.

19 points from the first seven 2025 matches will be special.

I agree with everything except the last sentence. For this I join the Willo-Camp: I fear the worst!

Problem is you nearly always predict a Palace defeat. You may think you ate being clever or find it amusing in some odd way, but it's kind of dull.
With respect, I provide my honest assessment, I certainly do not engage in any frivolity.
I believe I actually asserted on HOL that I would not be surprised if we increased our points tally after the Bournemouth encounter, a view that I expressed privately.

Strangely enough I fancied us to scrape a point until they somehow managed to lose to Ipswich, but now I’m thinking they’ll take it out on us with a 1-3 win

We drew 1-1 with them at the Bridge in September , Our team didnt have any preseason together or time to gell. They did expose Hughes lack of pace and targeted it and the Glas man changed the game by taking him off and bringing on Doucoure . I can see us rolling them over and coming away with 3 points . They dont like it up em .

Ollie took hughesey baby off before he got sent off, he should really have gone for a second booking, but he somehow got away with it

Not sure how the result last night will affect Chelsea. I would assume Chalobah will be unavailable for this one. Shame, slowly but surely becoming a real asset/character on the pitch.

However, what’s the point of supporting a club if you don’t believe in them…..

2-0 Palace

Some nice optimism on here but realistically surely we'd all take a draw?
I expect a narrow loss - maybe 2-1 as we will probably score but it could be 3-1 at the death whilst we chase the game. The Ipswich result was poor for us, in my opinion.
