Fantasy Premier League is back again and ready to accept entries for the 2025/26 season – and, no matter how hard they try, UEFA won’t be able to stop you from taking part!

Any interested HOL members are welcome to join the Holmesdaleship head-to-head league, and can do so by using the code below.

As usual, a maximum of 20 people will be able to enter with each person’s FPL team playing a head-to-head match against another every week. The results will be determined by the FPL Gameweek points scored by the actual players selected, with points for wins and draws being awarded accordingly just as they would in the Premier League itself.

The league will operate on a round robin basis throughout the whole of the 2025/26 Premier League season, which is due to kick-off on Friday, 15 August 2025. All of the FPL rules, including full details on how points are scored by each player, can be found on the official Fantasy Premier League website at the above link.

It is also worth noting that a number of updated rules and features are being introduced for 2025/26, and are among the topics discussed in the first instalment of this season’s Official FPL podcast which can be found at the link below.

Entry is FREE of charge, and although there will not be any prize money at stake there will still be bragging rights to be won. There will also be three points up for grabs every week, so you will always have at least something to play for from the start of the season right to the very end.

Whether you have played before or are thinking about giving it a go for the first time, it would be fantastic to have you on board. While any HOL members are welcome to join though, please keep in mind that places are limited to only 20, so be sure to enter your team as soon as you can to avoid missing out.

Also, please note that as this site is primarily for supporters of Crystal Palace FC, and particularly as places are very limited, this league is solely for HOL members who are Palace fans. FPL however is for everyone to enjoy, so no matter which club you support I would still encourage you to play along yourself and join some of the many alternative leagues available on the FPL site.

Hope to see you there!

Joined. Did a team badge of a cartoon eagle pouncing on a cartoon seagull and the moderators rejected it citing that I breached inclusivity rules, so I shall now be taking this up with the CAS.

A very warm welcome to those who have joined so far. Nice to have so many regulars back again, but if you're a newbie who fancies a go this year then it would be great to see you as well! The league is half full now, so there are 10 more places left.

Also, whether you've joined or not, don't miss this season's FPL Challenge mini league!

As a polite reminder, please note that the above mini leagues are for Palace fans only. FPL is for everyone though, so I would still recommend playing along by joining some of the many other leagues that are open to anyone, whoever you happen to support. Many thanks.

We now have the full complement of 20 teams, so the league has now been closed to new entries.

Apologies to So Near So Sarr, DontLookBackElanga (great name!), Bald Eagle and everyone else who had expressed an interest in joining this year, but just missed out. Your interest is much appreciated.

There is still plenty of room however in the FPL Challenge mini league. No one has actually joined yet, and there is no limit on numbers. All Palace fans welcome.

Thank you to everyone who has joined the head-to-head mini league this year, and best wishes for a fun and successful season!

As an eventful season for Palace fans came to a close in May, the 2025/26 Holmesdaleship FPL season ended with comparatively little drama, with Monkeys claiming this year’s crown in convincing fashion.

Defending champions Palace Cowboys led the chasing pack and eventually finished second with 73 points. Sprites with 69 and both Eze Does It and Devenny Maybe on 66 rounded out the top five with very solid performances. There was no catching Monkeys though, softly or otherwise, whose 84 points easily topped the table with an exemplary 28-0-10 record.

Monkeys’ 2346 Gameweek poin total was also impressive, though surprisingly not quite the highest in the league. That honour went instead to Eze Lover, who finished in 11th place but still managed to amass a grand total of 2349 Gameweek points along the way. A very good performance from them.

A nice assortment of amusing team names is often a highlight of any fantasy league, and we had another fine selection of old and new ones to make us smile again this time around. Of the newer entries, my personal favourites included Hendo’s Magic Hat, Keep Calm & Wharton, 12th Again (who finished 13th), Weewundecup and Wish Upon a Sarr, I think the one I personally liked best though was Devenny Maybe. Some might say that was the best one!

Thank you to all who took part in the league for your support, and I hope you all enjoyed playing along.. FPL is due back again very soon, so keep an eye out here for how to enter for the forthcoming season. Hope to see you there.

Finally, congratulations to the 2025/26 winning team, Monkeys! Yet another excellent season, very well done indeed!
