2 points to stay up

Get a grip. West Ham will probably lose to Arsenal anyway but theres no way you are telling me we are losing all 4 games between now and the end. Not happening.
I think we will lose all 4, but hopefully West ham wont win their last 3, Arsenal H, Newcastle A, Leeds H, i wouldnt like to go into the last game needing any points.

West Ham and Spurs both have to play Leeds, who are above us by 1 goal. They could easily slip beneath us if they lose both of those, so they are not out of this, and of course , if they win it pushes the loser further behind us in achievable points.

Everton look strong.
Beating Man C tonight and should have scored another couple.
I don't fancy our team defending their set pieces where they are very aggressive through Tarkowski, Keane, O'Brien etc.

The other ramification of tonight (sadly).is that Arsenal have a clear path to the title.

Arsenal’s last three games are against teams in the bottom six (including us obviously)

Isn't it fun to be talking about relegation again! Not a season would pass without a relegation thread popping up and slowing withering away until the next time. Some folk thought we had finally turned the corner and we had established ourselves as a bona fide middle table Premiership outfit. How deluded they were!

As soon as the fixture list is published I immediately look at the run in ! Will that ever change ?

Man C dropping points I feel is only going to help us, Arsenal must be saying to themselves City have left the door open, let’s seize the moment, we MUST beat the Hammers and it’s ours.

when Arsenal thump West Ham, this Sunday, it guarantees our survival. Even a Draw will make it nigh on impossible for East London to catch South London.

2 points to stay up ? my @rse

Yep! My mistake. That is the equivalent of 44 points in a 38 game season.

If we fail to get another point then Spurs will probably need just 2 wins from their games against Leeds, a rudderless and imploding Chelsea and Everton - very doable. In other words we are relying on Arsenal beating West Ham or we could well be looking at relegation. 7 points may be enough for Spammers to overhaul us on goal difference - yes, I know GD is very much in our favour at the moment but heavy defeats against Citeh and Arsenal are very real possibilities and defeats against Everton and Brentford as well will soon see that GD advantage disappear.
Chelsea will turn up for the Spurs game. They will want nothing better than to put one over them. Also, Spurs at home have been utterly rubbish. Yes, they've won at Wolves and Villa but Leeds are no mugs and if Leeds score first I don't expect Spurs to turn that into a victory.

Can't also see Arsenal losing to West Ham either. A point would be an amazing result for West Ham there. It'd take a remarkable run of results for both West Ham and Spurs to finish above us.

I do expect us to get at least a point or two from our remaining games. We are long overdue a decent result against Everton.

It hinges on the Spam v Arsenal match as to us in big trouble or not. Let’s hope Arsenal can keep 11 on the pitch and get the win. Both teams have a lot to play for unlike Villa and Chelsea in their last matches against Spurs and Forest. Strange how Forest who played last Thursday called on reserve players and still won whereas we get stuffed 3:0? Think I know the answer to that one :-(
I think there is also a point that this was the ideal time to play Chelsea. Really poor form and rudderless, although I do expect them to turn up for their home game against Spurs and the cup final. On the other hand, yes we were poor against Bournemouth but they were bang in form.

Chelsea wont care about league anymore all they will be focused on is winning the cup otherwise they wont be in europe next season at all.
