Parish Conundrum

Wow, what a big day for Parish tomorrow. As well as trying to sign new players by 7pm, after Oli's comments tonight, he knows that if we sell Marc tomorrow, Oli walks at the end of the season.
Very difficult to say no to £40m but as a fan......I hope he does because I dont want this feeling to end

I don’t envy SP on this decision. Mark will probably walk away for free which is hard to swallow but a consolation could be another great season and additional prize money based on league position and Chelsea not getting a payout.

Glasner's comments :

"I told the chairman we have to keep Marc if we want to play a successful season," Glasner told BBC Sport.

"We have no chance to find the right replacement in one day. We all agreed that we just sell Marc if we have the right replacement in the building.

"We wanted a replacement by 1 July. It is 31 August and we have no replacement. We have this agreement so it is clear from me. He is such a crucial player. He is one of our key players - he is our captain."
