Of the 3 Wembley visits this year I really enjoyed the community shield game. There was no stress just pure enjoyment.

The final was great and an unbelievable achievement winning the trophy. But my nerves were shot the whole day. The villa game we just blew them away unexpectedly.

So what's yours? 😄

Missed the Villa Game - flight landed at LHR just an hour before kick off- managed to get home to watch on laptop.

Final - Hit the green man, stress levels high, fantastic occasion, right up there with wedding day, kids being born etc, section 136 so good seats, great atmosphere - still didn't believe we would win it when 10 minutes stoppage time announced, amazing celebrations, drunk as a skunk fell asleep on the train home, should have got off at U Warlingham & ended up in East Grinstead, stayed on the train for return, got home around 10 ish. -

Community shield, researched the train journey, better prepared than for the final, arrived early, much more relaxed, hit the white horse about midday (even better than the green man) wandered into the stadium around 2pm, section 143 so good seats but less noise, enjoyed the day / atmosphere, couldn't believe our 2nd half performance, thoroughly deserved to force the penalty shoot out, took a while to realise we had actually won it, after the award ceremony headed back to the white horse , just to let the train crowds fade away, lol too much Asahi lager I guess.

Which one was better - couldn't chose, both exceptional days.

It seems obvious to say the final, but I really didn’t enjoy the 2nd half, it was too stressful, after being at the 1990 and 2016 finals and being so close to winning it back then I was just waiting for city to equalise. Obviously the day in general and the celebrations after made it special though.

The Community shield started off a glorified friendly, but now it’s the 2nd best trophy you can win 😀

But I think for actual enjoyment of the game, I’d say the semi against Villa, because let’s face it, we wiped the floor with them and they’d only lost 1 in 16 previous games. Even when JP missed his penalty and I was thinking, hold up the momentum could turn their way it still just felt like our day.

The Villa game was the most enjoyable from the match point of view,we played a great game that day .I think that performance told us all we had a real chance and by the time the final came around nothing was going to stop us
For the pure emotion it's got to be the final ,looking around at the end and seeing the fans in tears of joy before realising they to were running down my own cheeks . We had after 60 years (for some it would have been longer ) finally done it !

🤣

Villa - Great team performance, marred by the fact a long term friend couldn't attend due to a long term illness.

City - Fantastic day from start to finish, bar the police presence at Covent Garden, the friend made it which was the icing on the cake.

Liverpool - My 8 year olds first trip to Wembley, the day was more for him I'm glad we won to treat him on his first Wembley trip.

Each day was fantastic, but the City game was top due to us winning our first ever major trophy.

All 3 were amazing.

Villa because of the performance, Liverpool because of how relaxed it was (until penalties when it became briefly very intense and then joyous)… but the cup final was the most epic experience I have ever had at a football match. Yes nervous but emotion at the final whistle was like nothing before or likely ever again, nothing comes close.

The charity shield was miles and miles behind the other 2 for me. The price of seats suggested this as well.
I thought Sunday our crowd was lethargic, people moaning and wanting everyone to sit down. It was like it was full of people that couldn’t get cup semi final /final tickets.
Livened up a bit at the end.
Decent result.
But was like a high quality warm up to the season
