0% drinks

To my surprise Cruz Campo is not bad for one of those lagers they claim is Spanish but isn’t at all, is brewed in Burton On Trent and invented for Britain.
One of many.

Stella Artois, Budweiser, Corona, and Beck's, are brewed in South Wales.
Amstel, Fosters, and Birra Moretti - Manchester.
San Miguel - Northampton.
Estrella Damm - Bedford.

I've always wondered do they just make the normal beer and take out the alcohol, or do they make 0% stuff. I presume the easiest is removing the alcohol by freezing or heating. Which kind of explains the stupid prices. I find it quite ironic that it's the same price in the pub as normal beer. That's what it's like here in Ireland anyway. I feel there should be an incentive if they want us to drink it.
I'm afraid I don't know the answer. It piffed me off when pubs racked up the prices of soft drinks, so the nominated driver didn't have a cheap evening. 🙁
Now they've done the same thing with 0% beers, which shouldn't be taxed as much as beers, and should costs less to produce.
And supermarkets still do an ID/age check as you have to be over 18 to buy 0% beer ? Is that true ?
Watch out, 0% beers can be full of sugars and other stuff which massively raises the calories.
