I am sure Parish and co knew Eze would leave this summer. It would be interesting to know how much influence the manager has on potential replacements, as we definitely need cover for Eze. Personally, I'd be happy with Stirling at this point.

Glasner will have been fully aware of the clubs limitations regarding transfer budgets and potential for attracting big names. I have no doubt he expected to be "backed" but Palace don't have £100 million to spaff on players. I fully expect him to fulfil his contract unless he gets no bodies...
