What I like about this saga is the fact that he's pulling on the shirt and playing his football. And, according to Ollie, he'll do the same on Thursday.

I believe Glasner is starting to pile the pressure on Parish, leaving nobody in any doubt that if Eze or Guehi leaves, it is Parish's decision, nothing to do with clauses, i can see the sense for the club to sell Guehi, But personally i can see no reason to sell Eze at all.
My intepretation is that this may grow into a Glasner departure.He has never stayed long at any club and is known to eventually disagree with the owners.

Maybe he feels or realises or his agent has advised him Spurs might be the best it’s going to get. Eze and Spurs are inconsistent and top clubs want consistency so it makes sense.

if we sell him for less than the release clause that will be a complete joke and make us a laughing stock. What the f*** is the point of having these things then getting to the point where we have some real bargaining power at the table and then we let that Mr burns looking prat from spurs pull our pants down over one of our best players... the mind boggles.
I just don't see Parish letting this happen unless Eze has made it clear he really wants out now but even then you want the full asking price for a player still under plenty of contract.

Well, if he's going to go & it now looks probable, make sure it's after the 28th when we've qualified for the Conference League phase, then he can go & bench warm at spuds.
If he does go, I'd quite like it if Spurs do all the hard bargaining and then Arsenal swoop in and match it and Eze decides to go there.
