We need to get over this injustice and not let the club implode, 2 trophy's, a European competition to win, against which 90% of opponents are Non-League standard, Henderson, Lacroix, Richards, Muñoz, Wharton, Sarr, Mateta and hopefully Eze still at the club, Bournemouth and Brentford are imploding, Sell Guehi, Bring in 4 in the next 19 days, win the play off, and DON'T let UEFA ruin all what we have gained, i know we have been cheated but hopefully Chris Sutton is right and it will galvanise the club and team, COYP.

That will be a first

But the message is

Yes. Glasner will make sure the players dont sulk and come out swinging.

The biggest way we can shove it up uefa is to win the conference and then we’ll be in the Europa League anyway next season.
It’ll be tough with the size of our squad to win it because if we get through the qualifier and the group stage, we will eventually come up against some decent opposition in the knockout stages, but let’s enjoy the ride now and fcuk ‘em all, especially old Mary Knickers at Forest

The UEFA anthem is played before UEFA Europa Conference League matches, alongside the Europa League matches. The same anthem is used for both competitions. The anthem is also played before every match in the UEFA Europa League. It's part of the opening sequence for broadcasts of both competitions.

This is going to go down well at Selhurst....

You can’t bring booze into Selhurst but you can bring ‘boos’…

Hope Glasner, can have the same effect on Parish who needs to get over this obvious disappointment and get us ready and equipped for the challenges of the new season immediately!!
Excellent point, plus I’m not sure the players will be too bothered, it’s not like we’ve been denied the big one in the champions league. I think they’ll be thinking the same as us, well a lot of us, at least we’ve got European football, let’s get on with it

Exactly. And in our last two competitive matches we’ve beaten City & Liverpool at Wembley. Good times

Competing in a Third-Tier competition on Thursdays against some teams that perhaps are unknown to the multitudes, when we qualified for the Europa League on merit.Sticks in my craw.
I have no intention of attending matches and subjecting myself to that UEFA anthem.
😡 👎

Surely, completing in this competition was beyond our wildest dreams at the start of last season and we should enjoy the moment, the most successful period in our history. Even BBC pundits agree!!

In my view,so much nicer than an away fixture in the Third Division on a wet Monday night,or have we got short memories??

I think it's possible to simultaneously enjoy any success and progress in the competition with our typical fantastic support.

Meanwhile we can remind UEFA that we won't forget this injustice with a series of displays/protests/booing the theme etc.

I'll happily take part in both of the above.
Personally, I'd much rather see displays promoting the theme that we have honesty, integrity and dignity and that we can and will hold our heads high no matter what others do or say.

(after all, everyone already knows EUFA/FIFA/FA for what they really are....)

It's a shame you feel that way Willo.
I will be attending all the European matches that I can.
Disappointed though I am about our demotion, I've dreamed of European football for years, I won't let these £uçķers ruin it for me.

It's a great opportunity for some academy players to play in the league phase. Likes of devenny would definitely start most games and possibly Esse.

I honestly think it's a blessing in disguise for us. I wasn't bothered by the news yesterday either.

I agree becky. If we commit to an overdose of booing, negative chants and disruptive behaviour at Selhurst when we entertain Forest we will look like idiots in the unlikely event that they beat us. They will laugh at us and it will be humiliating, especially with the world watching on TV.

Far better we do like you say and show some dignity and approach the game in a positive, good humoured spirit. Somehow I can't help feeling this is a pipedream.

Fully agree. There is scope for being good as we observe UEFA Rules. Take it down a level, recognise (by arrangememnt with our team) that there are relationships within our team and boo every time we score. Five or six goals followed by that message should be enough to send a message, which I am sure OG and SP would enjoy explaining.

Spot on Becky. We're better than the booing clubs etc. The more we focus on honesty, integrity and dignity in a positive way, the more it will annoy UEFA because it will be indirectly saying that they don't have these qualities. More subtle and effective IMHO.

We should be expending our energy on supporting our team through the ECL journey.
