England v India cricket.

So a match defeat snatched of the jaws of victory.
A series draw snatched from the jaws of a series win.

That being said before the series started I expected us to lose the series and lose heavily given the squad announced.

More questions remain than answers.
Crawley still lacks consistency as goes Pope.
Brook needs to know when he can and can't play extravagantly.
Bethell failed in both innings and didn't contribute with the ball either
It's the bowling which is really worrying. Our bowling attack was held together through first 4 matches by an all-rounder in Stokes.
Atkinson is a cert after the fifth test match, but I don't think anyone can say that.
Woakes is now injured, Overton (J) seems to a one day/T20 player not test level, Not sure Archer could play a 5 match series after his injury, not really convinced about Tongue either.
As for spinners, Dawson can add some control but not really a wicket taker, not sure whether Bashir is the future either.

The selectors have alot to think about but I doubt they will change their minds ahead of the Ashes. With Cummins, Hazelwood and Starc our batters are going to be in for a very hard time. But our bowling attack just isn't potent enough to expose the Aussie batting lineup enough.

We do have talent in the country but the England team has been a bit of a 'mates club' for a very long time.

They aren't for Boycotts or Pietersens anymore......the ECB is all a bit gay if you ask me.

Really I was just looking for an excuse to call the ECB a bit gay.

Damn Freemasons again

Those odds surprise me.

It's 35 to win 3 wickets remaining can't see Woakes batting unless he just stands at the other end.

Siraz bowling fantastic and well supported.

Come on England.

😒
As I thought Siraz, but I am a little disappointed particularly with Smith and one or two others swishing air outside their off stump. a bit panicky.

Anyway, a cracking series, I was definitely entering 2005 levels of stress.
