Community Shield Tickets on Sale Monday

I was away & pretty much off the grid when the original seat release came out so I thought that I would have to be content with our day out in May / the cup final experience, its only since getting back home Thursday, I have been watching the web site to see if anything improved.

Why do they do this ? I've just had a look and there's loads available in the lower tier. Many people have probably bought their seats in the heavens already after not being able to get anything better at the time.

The amount of seats generally still available also highlights the amount of glory supporters we had at the cup final.

Yep, I needed seven and we waited to phase 2 so that we could all sit together this time and all they offered was top tier. I did think maybe if I only needed a couple I would have had options down below.
But everyone’s happy, we’re there that’s the main thing, and my daughter’s never been in the top tier so she’s especially happy.
Frustrating for those though that did want to go lower

I will have 1 adult ticket available for this game due to a friend backing out already! Area 543. Assume that most will have their own due to it not being sold out but worth a shot for those that are only members and couldn't get a second. Drop me a message if you're interested in this. Gold members you can get more tickets. I just went online and bought 2 more.

My mate got me one the other day and assigned it to me and it let me buy 2 this morning.

Go go go ppl. Get your tickets. Let’s sell it out and get the proper palace fans on before the touts and Liverpool fans get them.

My mate got a gold membership on day tickets when on sale. He’s also managed to buy one today (He may have previously set up an account).

So may be open to people got memberships after May.

I think of you had a previous client reference before May then it's fine to get a membership now and buy a Ticket.

It’s not ‘memberships’ bought before May because memberships expired at the end of last Season and new ones began for this season. You can buy a Membership today (or tomorrow) for this season and get Community Shield tickets PROVIDED you had a Palace account i.e. Client Reference Number that existed prior to the date in May that Palace have arbitrated.

So another shitshow from the club with ticket distribution .How many times do they have to see all this 'membership' level carry on is anti supporter ? You can have two today , another one next week ,oh sod it have as many as you like , its just bo********S

Yet again my extended family is scattered across Wembley in singles and doubles and they wonder why they have tickets left . For an Cup final we put up with it but for a glorified friendly ,well you cant blame people for sitting in the pub and watching it on the telly .

Since then there have been two more lots of tickets put on sale , containing seats I would have wanted.
The Palace admin is rubbish,they don't care about the supporters as long as they keep coughing up .
I felt practically blackmailed into buying a season ticket+, but what a waste of £50, I gained no advantage whatsoever.

It’s frustrating yes and I’ve been caught out in the same way as you with family scattered around Wembley however, how would you have done it differently, whilst still retaining fairness to season ticket holders & members etc. but not knowing what the demand would be?

I phoned up the box office earlier in the week when they release tickets on level 1. Asked them if I could change my seats and pay the extra which they did.

They don’t advertise this which is strange but also probably cuts their admin down.

Wish I had tried this for the final but at the same time I enjoyed the final so much I didn’t care in the end

i rang the box office yesterday as the online portal wouldnt let me buy, lady said even if it was the day beforehand and there were tickets left i couldnt buy, due to the may 17th rule.

we did have a client reference beforehand, just not a membership last swason. but she said it makes no difference.

I would let season ticket holders have 6 from the off and release all the tickets at the same time .

I would also do away with the membership fiasco .If you have a history you are a member

I would suggest the same people would end up with a seat .
