He’s the type of player who we should be targeting in a player swap deal not the normal crap were offered by teams like Arsenal who table unproven kids at sky high swap prices.

Work a deal with Liverpool involving Guehi & Elliot. They can also give us £10m.

Him playing for Palace will also dramatically increase his chances of playing for England proper! That is a great selling point.

I just read a piece where a respected youth and first team Liverpool coach claimed Elliot would be a perfect fit for Palace and could probably be picked up without any haggling for around £40m. The guy said he was pretty sure Harvey would relish the opportunity to stake a claim to start as well as play European football.
Anyone else not surprised that we dont seem to have at least explored the possibilty? I know I am. Personally I think he'd be great for us.

You dont think at his age talent and style of play £40m isn't a good price? U21s and Liverpool appearnces he has always worked his arse off and put in a shift. Has scored a few quality goals too.
Personally I think £40m is not a bad price in todays market where average nobodies are being touted at £50m/£60m
