Furthermore, the penalty was conceded in the 98th minute by a Obomamidele, who was also sent off. At the time, Obomamidele was on loan to Strasburg from…. NOTTINGHAM FOREST!

Since then, this player has been transferred permanently to Strasbourg.

I'd rather be out completely. The Conference has no credibility or prize money.

We will appeal. This is typically corrupt shenanigans.
 
I think we’re all interested in hearing the particulars of this ruling.

Hard not to feel gutted. UCL doesn’t really hold a lot of prestige.
 
As they didn’t just chuck us out earlier it was always going to be a compromise, and this is the compromise.
It could have been worse, so I,ll look forward to playing some new opposition even if they do have the strangest names. At least it puts an end to this ,will we, won’t we. And we can get back to concentrating on what sort of squad we go into battle with. Eagles 🙂

In the case of kicked out Drogheda, the appeal body CAS ruled that the March deadline was 'fairly and reasonably communicated' to Drogheda.
It may well be that UEFA can similarly demonstrate that there was a similar communication to Palace.

I'd hate to be the Palace employee who missed this communication, or who failed to pass it on.
Having said that, would the club have acted on it anyway for the numerous reasons outlined earlier in this thread?
 
The whole thing stinks. Forest will replace us . The fat Greek put his shares in trust to prove he had no influence on the club in case they qualified for the Champions League, then when they lost out he appeared on the pitch berating Nuno! The whole blind trust thing is a total scam and UEFA are a joke.
The only positive is that we’re shot of that t*sser Textor.
