Israel v Hamas

It's 'enough said' if you have 0 interest in considering information and only want to consume that which reinforces your views, but I'd find that a very strange way to approach any topic.
Well said.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of strange opinions in this debate.

I find everything I believe to be anti-IDF/Israel - BUT I'm at least open to watching anything available that shows the Israeli side of things, for the sake of balance.

Should they ever allow their story to be told with VIDEO EVIDENCE, interviews etc, then it's their opportunity. Until then, I don't think that will happen.

Have you ever listened to Miriam?

If you haven't seen it, I'm not sure there's much value in speculating on it.

I'm not aware of any 'complexities' which would warrant the detention and torture of medical professionals, nor the deliberate targeting of their family members.

Hamases documented use of medical facilities and schools for military purposes is your 'complexities'.

Claims of torture or deliberate targeting require scrutiny as they often stem from biased narratives that overlook Israels security challenges.

Like I said I havnt seen the documentary but I am pretty sure it's very biased and one sided.

I guess the BBC sticking to its impeccable standard of only reporting the facts wisely passed on airing the documentary.....

Again, if you haven't watched it you're just inventing whatever narrative fits your pre-conceived view - a pointless exercise.

How about you stop assuming things, watch it, and then make a judgement?
If you already made up your mind that it's unbalanced, then you're just following an agenda.

I have no issues seeing both sides... I'd happily see one from the Israeli's side and try to form a balanced assessment.

I am skeptical of its balance given reports of it glossing over Hamas tactics. Maybe the BBC also skipped it as they seen the bias from a mile away.

I did watch Harry Potter, yeah 🙂

But it's irrelevant - ignore her if you want and just consider the contents of the letter and the other few hundred signatories.
The BBC has lately pulled back a little from its blatant anti-Israel reporting and is now somewhat more balanced - no doubt that has upset the anti-Israel elements at the BBC.

I may watch it this evening if it's on the channel 4 player and judge for myself. I'm pretty sure my statements will still be relevant and that it is one sided ignoring Hamas tactics and their war crimes.

If there are 300 whistleblowers, that's a lot of people to make stuff up, especially when their careers are potentially on the line.

The BBC should be impartial or at very least factual. They've recently taken a Pro-Israel stance, which is why they are now rightly getting all this backlash.

As has already been pointed out, you've made your mind up already.
We all know you're not going to watch it.

If they don't like how their employer operates, why don't they find a job that suits them better.

Well, there's bigger devilry at play, so I guess it's a cause worth fighting for.

If you have an issue with their jobs, I'm sure you'll let them know.

“Keith Siegel, 66, was kidnapped from Kibbutz Kfar Aza during the Hamas-led attacks on Israel on 7 October 2023. He was released in February after 484 days in captivity under a ceasefire deal that Trump helped broker just before he took office. He was taken along with his wife, Aviva, who was held for 51 days before being freed during an earlier ceasefire. Speaking today, Mr Siegel described in vivid detail how Hamas members beat and taunted him, and said he was still haunted by the torture of a female captive he witnessed.” [BBC]
