Reform

In my mind I’ve created an image of ‘He’s A Man’ done in reverse. It’s called ‘He’s a Road man’. Walks down the street giving evil eyes to white men going about their day. Complaining that he can’t carry 2 ounces of weed that you can smell on the train (buy a sealed container!) Complaining that he can’t carry a 12 inch machete. Note I also imagine many black people nodding to this image yet it’s not allowed but allowed in reverse.

I wonder if Glastonbury contains some of the white people who claim white professionals or just white people are the problem with gangland London, meaning they’re the ones creating the demand for drugs so it’s their fault. This is while consuming plenty of drugs all weekend at Glastonbury.

Why aren't you hearing about younger right wingers or centralists in music?

The reason you aren't hearing about it is because the music industry discriminate against right wingers who speak out. Now music has been politicised by the left....it was always there, which was fair enough but now it's become authoritarian.

Mumford and son's and the music industry's treatment of Winston Marshall when he came out as basically 'not on the left' is a public example of this.....Most shut up, if they want a career.....The left are evil.

Unless you think that only left wingers are interested in music.

Also, ‘not on the left’ is quite the euphemism for being the son of GB News owning renowned very right wing Paul Marshall.

The idea that Glastonbury has suddenly decided to be this radical left wing festival is very funny. If anything it’s a far more watered down commercialised version of what it was before the turn of the millennium.

You are entitled to your faulty opinion.

However, I will make the following points:

One, I think it would be acknowledged that I have made plenty of criticisms of Israel on this forum. However, I'm just a pleb with a keyboard typing on the politics section of a footy site. The BBC however has a remit to provide impartial coverage....I will also acknowledge that I believe that the BBC did attempt this....So while I'm also a heavy critics of the BBC I make no attempt to blame them for what happened here.

Regardless, the BBC ended up unwittingly broadcasting direct incitement to violence by airing, 'death to the IDF' chants and the implicit, 'from the river to the sea', during its coverage and other direct anti Israel comments.

The fact that this happened is the responsibility of the Glastonbury organisers who were very apparent in refusing to tone down in any way the political nature of the festive even though it was receiving wide public broadcast.

This being the case I agree fully with Lowe in his letter to the BBC that Glastonbury's attitude means that they do not deserve extensive future live coverage......To paraphrase the Glastonbury top chap, 'if you don't like it go elsewhere'.

The BBC should take heed if it takes its remit seriously.

This does not stop Glastonbury putting on whatever type of music festival they decide on, hence isn't an abuse of their free speech, which you mistaken stated. No one is arrested or fired, unlike what has happened to those on the right who have exercised free speech.....and which you have never defended.
