Marcus Monzo got himself a Samuri sword and after a good dose of weed took it out on the street and killed a schoolboy and threatened anyone he could get to.. The police then tried to tackle him using a stick and a pepper spray.

The man was a lethal danger and the police in attendance didn't have the weaponry to disable him. Later, after one policeman got injured, he was brought down with a taser.

I think as this nutter was such a danger a shoot to kill policy would have been just.

Instead he'll get a lengthy prison/hospital sentence at the taxpayers' expence.

I used to be against the death penalty. Sometimes we come across such hopeless and despicable low life it makes you wonder.

Agreed. The death penalty should be available to judges - not mandatory as it used to be.

I favour the Japanese model.

And their attitude to capital punishment.

Zero point in keeping this POS alive and costing money to do so

What was he doing in the UK anyway, ah, free movement for EU passport holders when he arrived

What was his source of income, supposedly he had a very expensive drug habit

Seems his drug taking started with cannabis and went onto other drugs, and Sddick Cant wants to decriminalise cannabis so we can have more of this kind of person

Most probably either a mugger or county lines runner - the modern trades for the otherwise unemployable.

Peter Hitchens is always banging on about cannabis and he has a point. The police and media routine forget to mention that violent offenders often have cannabis in their bloodstream. But hey man it's only weed it's harmless.

An innocent boy was murdered on his way to school and he would have killed more if the police hadn’t stopped him.
The case against capital punishment is the risk of a miscarriage of justice. This case there was no possibility as it was on camera. A clear case for the death penalty.
