England v West Indies

Overall - series just felt too easy. But I don't think England will be scaring India or Australia too much just yet. We'll see.
If I were to look into my crystal ball, I don't fancy England against India in the test series or Australia later in the year. I don't think there's enough in the England bowling attack. The spinners aren't good enough, too many part time spinners, and there isn't enough pace at the moment. Stokes will have to bowl a lot, in my opinion. And whilst he usually takes wickets, he usually gets injured too. Unfortunately.
Imagine India against our spinners and Australia against our pace on their flat tracks and you'll see what I mean.
Batting, I think England are ok - if they make the right choices. No lack of skill and power in the batting. Just often that poor decision making - which again, you wouldn't fancy Australia or India to do.
Just some cricket thoughts with the new one day captain in. I've always liked Brook. Best of luck to him.

Even the most casual observer could tell the England bowling attack is nowhere near good enough. Yet, the selectors couldn't.
Wait for the batsmen to f*** up too. Whacking out for a missed six off their second ball. Take a hint from India perhaps.
You take each ball as it comes, you need a 90 plus bowler, you need someone who is a proper full-time spinner, swing bowling only really works on a just outside off stump ball. Basics of test cricket.

Too sensible. Much better to approach a Test like a T20 game for a day and a half then bowl the opposition out twice. However many records Joe Root sets the way he bats is obviously wrong, outdated and boring.
