Nice goal from Sarr there.
So many Dioufs. Is Diouf, the Senegal LB the same Diouf we were linked with ?
If you say all their surnames one after the other you can't help but hum the Eastenders theme tune afterwardsSo many Dioufs.
Yes. He looks really good going forward for a 20 year old and it was a great cross for the Sarr header that Henderson saved. Saka did nothing against him, although TBF the Arsenal player got little service, but Madueke did cause him more bother. I suspect Palace will be in for him again as he has a higher ceiling than Mitchell but the price will be higher than in JanuaryIs Diouf, the Senegal LB the same Diouf we were linked with ?
I watched it live, no England player had a good game but he didn't disgrace himself. If I was him though I would be asking Gordon if he had a problem with him. The amount of times that Eze made a good run and Gordon ignored him to make a safe sideways pass. If I was Eze I might grab him warmly by the throat.Well from the highlights I’ve just seen, at least Eze did his bit and looked like he had a good game😎
Always sound advice on dealing with that knife-faced snake.I watched it live, no England player had a good game but he didn't disgrace himself. Too deep and too slow in that position. At one point we had a break on he had the ball and instead of a simple pass chose to hang onto to it and then lost it. Even the commentators noticed that.It was a 2nd string 1st 11 with a makeshift defence. Lewis-Skelly was cr*p, where previously has looked good (because Senegal attacked him?).
Henderson looked good, but some curious defensive passing when Senegal were on a high press.
Eze was the pick of the english players.
the commentators were sp*nking over MGW saying he changed the game, but what actually happened was 2 players came on (MGW and MorganRogers) who Eze was able to link up better with (Kane was forever too deep AGAIN for that to happen)
It was a team full of attack with no defence. Even more so when Gallagher and Rice went off. no surprise the end of the game provided our best creative chances and also when we conceded 2 goals.
Hopefully Tuchel learnt something from it.
notable mention to Sarr, good performance.
No doubt though when we play a competitive match, he’ll be back on the bench 🤨I watched it live, no England player had a good game but he didn't disgrace himself. This is true, I know they’re supposed to be professional, but what a pointless game this was. No coincidence it was this time of year we lost 4-0 at home to Hungary in the waste of time league 2 or 3 years ago, didn’t stop us getting to another euro final thoughWas not good. Looks like England have gone backwards.
Tactically England were too ridged, trying to play out every time when Senegal were pressing high and aggressively.
But then again its a pointless game when everyone would rather be on holiday.
When did England ever have a worse back 4. One a teenager playing out of position; another who couldn't get off the bench for his team's crucial last game; the next one who even the team's fans have said underwhelmed this season; and an old, slow player from a weak leagueFelt sorry for Hendo. He is used to playing with a much better defensive unit in front of him !
