Community shield (flights)

Just booked my flight over from Dublin on the morning of 9th August only 30 euro.

As it's going to be against Liverpool you can expect a huge price hike very soon. I'd recommend to book early if thinking of going.

And Dublin. You would be surprised with the price hikes to Liverpool and Manchester on Match days from Ireland. As soon as fixtures are released or changed the flights go up.
 
Not sure the actual date and time has been officially announced. Ticket touts, sorry, I mean ticket resellers, are offering tickets for the 9th August.

The FA's website has no mention of this year's Community Shield.

I know TNT has said it'll be 10th August, but until it has been officially announced I'd hold back, just in case TNT got it wrong. After the complete bollocks spouted by their co-commentators for the Champions League Final, their plug of when they are televising the game could also end up being bollocks...

It’s the usual farce - Palace published it as being 9th, broadcasters say 10th, premier league published a post 2 days ago saying date is still TBC

So no risk of fighting between opposing fans - Liverpool at Wembley one day; Palace the next.

I booked Saturday morning - Monday so should be covered either way 😃
