Crystal Palace vs. Wolves Match Thread

Ollie was quite agitated at times last night. It was a great game for the fans but Palace were sloppy at times and I guess that's what was getting him annoyed.

I think the players got caught up with the emotion so we had a few cavalry charges, on another day Wolves could have beaten us. But we also should have scored a few more, at times the players were tripping over each over.

Anyway I like it when a manager is annoyed even though his team is winning, the best managers always are, always seeking perfection.

The 4th goal was funny. A great move and Franca playing a lovely ball to Eze, what made me laugh was Franca was hoping for the return, you could see that Eze only had one thing in mind and it wasn't passing to his team mate.

Have to say Devenny looks really tidy tonight. So glad he made it into the side this season. A great midfielder for the future.

Suspect this will go down like a lead ballon. But I disagree.

Energy and work rate 10/10. But completely at the detriment to any positioning.

Think he'll have a decent career, but he's not going to the top IMO.

Yes Badger, Hendo said after the Final, I think, something like 'the more we do the harder he makes us work'. Ollie is a master man manager.

No, I agree. Currently mid table squad player.

But he is young, and it isn't going to hurt his development if he has to keep up with some of those around him.

What a wonderful night of celebrations yesterday and beating Wolves as well just capped it off nicely!
The atmosphere was just amazing and I expected us to get beaten after Saturday - and it would not have mattered by the way - but instead they got the job done.
I cried like a baby on Saturday and nearly did it again last night.
The celebrations, the Palace family, Joel Ward leaving - sad but that's life - it all sent me home with a warm feeling.
I love our Club.

For us older OAP fans its a bit like when the Mrs puts the stockings and suspenders on , its exciting but frightening at the same time . We have been there before ,it will be over before it has really begun and before we know it we will be back in our armchair looking at her fat arse doing the hoovering .

But hey we can dream
Bet your an Adonis mate 😉

Did anyone notice how much the players were sweating. Getting all the celebratory champagne out of the system!
Ollie keeps expectations high and that is why he is a winner
