Austria win Eurovision and glasner Austrian manager wins Fa cup, just like Laudrup with swansea winning league cup in 2013 with a swansea and Denmark winning Eurovision that year.

Going to Wembley Box Park pre-match despite not wanting to and actually having a great time.

Seeing a young (but legal) girl in some of those shorts where a slightly unacceptable amount of bum cheek is visible.

Nice chat with a lady who supports Arsenal on the tube, who I think might have inhaled some marching powder, but took me for a normal functioning human being and I didn't blurt out anything weird.

Palace won.

Lowlights:

Asking three policemen where Wembley Central was, the last of which turned out to be stood under a sign that said Wembley Central and laughed at me.

bloody hell I hadn't realised you'd won it. Just been watching highlights on the BBC, they're talking about it now. Expected Manchester City to score and go on and win as the game went on, couldn't believe the result.

No really though, congratulations and all that, you must be thrilled. It's good to see opposition teams like that get beaten when they've dominated the game in recent years but without the investment, they'd never have won or achieved what they have.

Can remember back in 1990 being at school and the Final against United when Ian Wright scored those goals and you very nearly won it that day but right now, it's amazing, you've done it and made up for missed opportunity.

It's great for neutrals that you won it today. Ok for other fans it's a surprising score but every so often these things occur. We did a similar thing back in 1978 but can only remember so much from that time. Great victory today, everyone here must be thrilled, those who went to London and saw it live, you have memories to take away forever. Look forward to seeing what you can put together in Europe next season.
 
In that 10 minutes of added on time I was sitting in front of the TV screen while outside monsoon rain and thunder and lightning were adding to the drama. Fingers and toes, arms and legs plus bollox all crossed. Recorded a new high on my blood pressure monitor too. What a grand day for a proper old fashioned backstreet football club. Icing on the cake was beating a state owned entity with entitled fans that has cheated its way to success xx
 
Now the morning after the day before the tricky job of trying to get this to sink in.

I'll start with the highlights again. Every match report. I will go an buy an actual paper! Or ten! Something tangible. Physical proof in print. (You can't believe all the stuff you read online.)

But then again there is a lot of stuff popping up on the youtube algorithm ...

I'm not ready to watch the whole match. The players suffered. We suffered. Those last 10 minutes. Jeez that was hard.

It's going to take some time ...
 
I thought SP's haircut yesterday was top-notch and his dressing was immaculate. And very generous behaviour in the Director's Box 😀
 
Just had a quick look at North Stand Chat, quite funny as you can imagine although some of their fans did say we deserved it.

I hope Wharton is okay he went missing after the game.
 
What a tumultuous day. Game plan worked. No smash and grab here. Great team counter attacking goal. Hats off to Kamada to getting the return pass to Mateta even if he did fall on his backside doing it. Like the semi hard to pick a MOTM, probably just Hendo for me. Like Kamada had some flack in the past but has now shown his worth. Pep's words with him at the end looked ugly but he did hang about after to congratulate Steve P but he was fuming inside. This day will live in the memory for a very long time. COYP !!

I am happy now the hurt of 1976 till now has stuck with me , my journey home to shropshire is going tobe the best journey ever , also ive converted a west ham fan to a Palace fan my grandson ,

Palace on a european tour sounds so good and FA CUP WINNERS COYP

Yes, most of them are very salty. Maybe it's the sea air, or perhaps not? 🤔 🤣
