They arnt happy with the "country of strangers" comment.

A quick google or search on x you will see a lot of the loons are virtue signalling over the comment. Seems TTK is a right wing racist now 🤷🏻‍♂️

So criticising a speech = eating itself?

He's certainly not left wing.

Yes exactly the looney lefties piling on TTK for a single comment shows their unhealthy obsession.

Anyone that steps out of line with a comment they don't like they eat up. We have seen it time and time and time again.

Sorry, so if any left-wing person criticises a speech made by the Prime Minister of the country, they are showing an "unhealthy obsession"..?

Does that sound logical to you?

You would have to ask the lefties why they have an unhealthy obsession of turning on their own.

They arnt logical at all. 👍🏻

JK Rowling is another example. Once she stepped out of line the looney lefties came calling.

You have to wonder how the Powellesque expression got into the speech, either huge error of proof reading or huge error of judgement

I'm asking you as the person who made the claim - you think any criticism of the Prime Minister from someone left-wing is them demonstrating a unhealthy obsession... does that sound logical to you?

Starmer has never been on the left, certainly not since running for leadership - most of the actual left did not support Starmer's campaign and knew exactly what sort of politician he was. There is nothing left-wing about him or his government.

When May, Johnson, Sunak, Truss were criticised by many on the right, were those individuals also demonstrating an "unhealthy obsession" and "turning on their own"?

I'm just trying to work out when criticism of a politician is acceptable in your view.

You have to think it was overlooked.

This shower are clearly useless, but surely not stupid enough to knowingly include anything so 'Powellesque'.

The left have a special knack for crucifying their own over any minor deviations.

They are quick to slap the term "racist" or "bigot" on anyone who doesn’t toe the exact line. Like with TTKs country of strangers comment.

The right criticises their own too but they don’t eat their own with the same obsession the left do. Johnson, may and sunak faced criticism but not with the relentless hatred that we see from the left. That is the unhealthy obsession.

Again, Starmer is not even close to one of the left's 'own'. He culled the majority of the left from the party and has been disliked by much of the left since long before he was elected.

'It's just different when the right do it' 🤣

Do you think the left's criticism of Starmer is specific to a 'minor deviation' or more the fact he's been a car crash of a Prime Minister who continues to move the Labour party further to the right?

But that’s exactly my point! the left are so quick to disown and demonise anyone who doesn’t fit their narrative or crosses that line.

It's not just TTK. JK Rowling a lifelong liberal was cancelled for her comments.

Big or small the left turns every step across the line into a witch hunt to flex their moral high ground and virtue signal.

The right rips into their own too but they don’t make it a lifestyle. There's the difference.

You'd hope that more care will be applied in the future or it's a bit concerning what other gems might slip through the net. You'd also think, though, that Starmer would be a bit more diligent in preparing a speech. Unless he shares Boris's freestyle wing-it approach.

Mate, if the 'narrative' is literally being left-wing, what the f*** do you think is supposed to happen..?

Starmer has actively gone to war with the left of the Labour party to try and endear himself to 'sensible centrists', but you think he should still have the unconditional support of the left..? Does that make even a semblance of sense?

I know unconditional blind faith of politicians is standard for some, but no one has my guaranteed support because of the colour ribbon they wear, which seems to be how you are suggesting it should work.

'The right just do it differently' 🤣🤣

By culling the left you presumably mean getting rid of the anti-semite Cobynista types who would not accept a definition. Seemingly you disagree with that action.

I agree he has been a car crash of a PM with a crazy cabinet none of whom seem fit for office with one or two exceptions. Dan Jarvis has integrity IMO.

I think it's fair to say when the left pile on it's particularly vitriolic, look at Rosie Duffield, totally vindicated by the Supreme Court ruling, spineless Starmer has not apologised to her.

It's so easy for stations like Talk TV to put together montages of Starmer flip flopping because he does it so much. Trump and cervixes two of the worst examples, now it's immigration.

I disagree with almost everything Corbyn believes in , BUT, he is constant and doesn't change at the slightest sign of discontent. Credit for that IMO
