The context being that Trump is the worst thing that ever happened to anyone anywhere. Ghengis Khan, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and Alan Mullery combined are a mere bagatelle in comparison.
 
I have consistently posted on here since the first imposition of the tariffs it was a tactic and all would recover, as it has.

It was the ideologs and economic dunces on here who jumped on the panic wagon.

Not necessarily and certainly not for us.

He is demanding that the drug companies sell their products in the US at the same price as the cheapest they do anywhere else. Drug companies need to make profits to continue their research. If they cannot make it in the USA then they must elsewhere.

So either the drug companies will raise their prices everywhere making them unaffordable in developing countries to maintain their profitability, or cut their research.

The NHS is the biggest buyer of drugs in the world which gives them enormous purchasing power which they use to negotiate big discounts. Trump interfering with that is not good news for us. Trump clearly doesn’t believe in free market economics as he retreats into protectionism with tariffs and now this. This ultimately benefits no one.

If trump can save his people money then why not. We pay a tenner per item that the yanks pay ten times more for. What would you consider a good thing or if it was the old kiddy sniffer not trump it would be a winner I guess. Your TDS in full flow.

Some seem incapable of understanding that if a mugger gets a victim to give them what they want by agreeing to only punch them once instead of three times they are still a mugger.

If you are that victim should you be pleased? You’ve still been mugged. Your likely response is to try to avoid it happening again by cutting as much contact and reliance as possible. You sweet talk the mugger to keep them off your case but build contacts elsewhere. New alliances working together can stand up to muggers.
