That's right, Glasner has given an interview to The Sun, 2 weeks before the FA cup final, and has decided to use the opportunity to motivate the team by telling The Sun that he is relaxed about his best young players leaving the club in order to finance a rebuild in the Summer. One of the clickbait sites (so probably made up) mentioned Chelsea offering Carney Chukwuemeka in part exchange for Guehi. He hasn't played much for them and has only scored a couple of goals but he is left sided.

I was thinking about this and then wondered would the money go on the stand, rather than many new players?
 
On the same basis we could offer them Edouard in part exchange for Cole Palmer. Good business swapping a player not good enough for your bench in exchange for a young, international club captain.

I saw a similar 'mutually beneficial' swap rumour of Adam Wharton for Harvey Elliot.

These big clubs, with under-performing academies that the press trot out on regular basis are simply hilarious.

We could negotiate in Levy fashion. They offer for Guehi. We say Holding instead.

He’s out on loan at an Italian or German team.

He’s a top player but has had a few injuries since joining Chelsea.

A clever way of saying if you want to stay ok. If you want to go FO and don’t think we will beg you to stay. Also don’t play us off against another team for more dough.
 
Clickbait linking us with Joe Wilock from Newcastle. Hardly a ringing endorsement, most Newcastle fans want rid as he's had a poor season. So why would we want him then?

It depends how much he costs, decent squad player for about 10m, as next season could see an end to Lerma and Kamada, can't believe Newcastle paid 29m for him.

Football in a nutshell, for a lucky few. He gets punted out on loan, doesn't play and maybe gets the opportunity of picking up mega money in Saudi. If there's even a shred of truth in the story of course.

I guess the question is why has his form dropped off so badly at Newcastle. If it's something like he's homesick for the big smoke then fair enough.

Your right, it makes 12mish for Sarr, 12ishm for Lacroix, 12m for Mateta, 10m for Richards, 8.5m for Muñoz, 5m for Hughes, 0 for Lerma and even 15m for Hendersen seem all Bargains
