Can't believe no-one has not started a thread what with 25& a half hours to go.

1-1

Chelsea are currently 3-1 v L'pool which means they go above Forest into 5th & 3 points above. That means, if Forest really want CL, they HAVE to beat us. With our eyes on the Cup Final, we cannot take our league position lightly.

I expect I nervy, hard fought, cagey game. That or we/they will totally dominate, hmm?

I suppose everyone’s very much focused on the final now. It was only Sky mentioning it earlier that reminded me I had a game to go to tomorrow night😳

I’ll settle for a bore draw to be honest if we come out of it with no injuries 0-0 no dramas and another point nearer the magic 50

Tomorrow night's match will be a tense affair and everyone will be hoping to get through it unscathed. The home support will be fabulous and it should be a lively atmosphere. As for the outcome, I'm going for 1-1.

Forest are in a bit of a spiral although they have a couple of winnable games to come. But if we win the Cup, they could end up in the Conference rather than Champions League next season

Didn't realise that Forest were a team we had such a terrible record against - from bbc

Head-to-head

  • Crystal Palace have only won one of the past 14 league meetings and are winless in eight (D5, L3).
  • Forest have never lost in nine Premier League encounters with Crystal Palace (W4, D5), the only opponent they have faced more than twice in the competition without losing.

The way results have gone we are unlikely to climb any higher so it'll really depend on how that affects the team's mentality and how the pressure on Forest to win affects them. I'm hoping we'll see a relaxed Palace team coming out to entertain, play some great football and win. I think more likely we'll be hungover from the elation of the cup semi-final and we'll lose 1-0.

Nketiah should get a start. Lets get him scoring some goals.
Did you watch him against his former club (Arsenal)? Missed some big chances, acted like Bambi on ice, went for glory instead of passing and only once gave it a go. When he could easily have ended the season for his own keeper (Henderson) - and did not ven say sorry to our goalie. The more on the bench, the better...

I reckon Glasner will remind them of the consequences of not being focused on the game in front of them IE after the Fulham cup win we lose 5-2 then 5-0.
I expect a more professional approach plus I've no doubt they'll know they'll be playing for a starting place at Wembley.
Add that to Forest's defence seeming to have suddenly gone on holiday and I'm going to say 2-0 Palace

They desperately need to win this one to keep them in the European race as a defeat could undo the whole of what has been a great season for them. We on the other hand want to keep our momentum going for the FA Cup but have less incentive for this game. The result will be more dependent on Forrest’s approach than ours. I think a 2-1 Forrest win. COYP

As they really like to play on the counter and have been incredibly efficient at it so it will be an interesting tactical battle. Or possibly quite dull, at least to begin with.

We are good on the counter too so I don't see why we should play into their hands and attack in numbers.

They need the points more than us so they should do the attacking and we will do the defending, the countering and the scoring.

I agree with this prediction. Forest will be nervy and we will take advantage of it.
