Agree with this. Villa fans were decent yesterday and even though they got smashed there was no unpleasantness. They’re a good team and hopefully they can squeeze into Europe ahead of Chelsea or City.

Travelled in on the Met Line, so was massively outnumbered. Had a number of conversations which were pleasant and constructive. Fair play to them. Kind of changed my mind about them as a club.

Thanks pal, you’ve got an excellent team there and have had a terrific season, all the best for getting into Europe again.

Palace v Villa was a proper FA Cup Semi-Final. It gets soooo boring when it’s Liverpool v Man Utd or Arsenal / Chelsea again. Villa made it a proper day and I too would like to say the atmosphere around the stadium and on the concourse, both before and after the game seemed to be excellent and a credit to both clubs.

Crystal Palace football club was formed on 10 September 1905 under the guidance of Aston Villa assistant secretary Edmund Goodman. Palace kit was donated by Aston Villa, hence why we used to play in claret & blue.
