Reform

UK medical student = £9,250pa.
Overseas - £38,000 - £58,000pa.
No wonder the courses are full of Chinese and Indian students
A decade ago I my daughter went to Southampton uni. It's basically Chinatown, ram packed with Chinese students.

Other unis weren't like that.

Many uni are packed full of students which have come from abroad.

It's not an issue and is a good thing.

A lot of the idiots who are buying into the Reform stuff are the same idiots that believed all the wonderful stories about how Brexit would be. (Would not surprise me if a fairly large % like Trump as well)

Glad you like his tattoos.
I don’t.

I have never understood why anyone has a tattoo. Even when they were generally only seen on those in the RN.

I think they are ugly and disfiguring. Even the discrete ones that remain hidden. What’s the point of them?

Some seem to think they are making a statement about themselves and I agree. The difference is what that statement says.

The Venn diagram is a perfect circle.

I feel the same way about labour but people still voted for them

Labour deservedly getting their arse kicked up and down the country.....gotta love it.

Not sure that Farage is the guy to solve anything but anything is better than these anti white two tier incompetents.

Labour are essentially the middle class establishment and the working classes are....finally fully aware that....if you're white and working class, and even worse male and straight they look down on you.

People should never forget nor forgive what they did to vulnerable white working class girls so that they could curry favour with ethnic voters.

That piece was going well until Trump was mentioned, not even his mum liked/him.

Why the usual suspects are crowing about some totally predictable local election results beats me. They are as irrelevant as when the Liberals have a local surge. It’s a protest vote! Nothing more. People feel safe doing so in local elections. Much less so in a general election.

I want to someone filming all these new local Reform councillors as they get to grips with their roles and the reality hits of what they have signed themselves up for.

Those who seek to segregate society into groups separated only by characteristics they were born with, or into, are the ones deserving condemnation. “Kickings” being the kind of justice many of them probably approve of. Seeing terms such as “anti-white” being used in posts carries the aroma of the terminology used by such as the far right “Patriotic Alternative”.

No one is “anti-white” just because they try to promote diversity and inclusivity whilst trying to manage difficult situations. Nor did anyone try to “curry favour” with ethnic groups. These are nonsensical and really quite sinister concepts.

They are so precious and egos so fragile that they see it as an attack on them rather than trying to help someone else.

My eldest grandchild is studying for a PhD at Southampton Uni so I visit there on occasions.

I have seen some Chinese students whilst there but not in disproportionate numbers. It seems like a regular Universal city.

How did you confirm they were Chinese students ?, as opposed to Japanese or Korean, etc, etc.

I suppose you asked them, or did you just racially stereotype ?

Having lived in that part of the world for a while I think I can identify most who are mainland Chinese from Hong Kong Chinese let alone from Korean or Japanese. I may be wrong occasionally but not enough to disrupt the overall impression. It’s less the way they look, although that’s usually different, it’s the way they dress, speak and behave.

That's the first time anyone's ever suggested I have a fragile ego.

Being born English/British is fantastic, I won the lottery of life being born an Anglo. You can hate us as much as you like, but this land is ours by blood.

Labour weren't voted in for being popular and no one other than your small cult of middle class 'citizens of nowhere' actually likes your ideology. Even the Muslims don't really like you.....The working class whites you hate so much are going to kick you out.

It's you sad feckers who hate us far more than any foreigner.....and certain others who see themselves as something other than what they are.
