Favourite takeaway (and dish)?

Chinese but it's got crazy expensive. The local chip shop does spicy chicken which would burn the mouth off you when they get carried away with the chilli in the crispy coating - I'll have that.

Vegetable and potato samosas, followed by Saag Gosht/Keema Naan/pilau rice, accompanied by a mango Lassi.

Perfect MOTD food as the loud chewing often drowns out the naysaying noise of some of the pundits.

I am partial to a hot curry, one that put's muscles on your breath.
'Chicken Phall', 'Chicken Vindaloo (Extra Hot), I have even sampled the delights of a 'Gunpowder Kalia'.
👍
Congratulations on your galvanised constitution Willo. Phal would kill me on the spot.
This has come up before but David Lloyd has talked about his fondness for a "Bullet kebab" so called because it goes straight through you.

Chinese just about edges it. Favourite dish is salt and pepper chicken but I do like a Chinese curry with rice and Singapore noodles...

watching non-league fotball, quite partial of two cooked sausages in a roll, with brown sauce, and a mug of coffee.
For evenings with Mrs Hillbilly, it's either fish and chips, or a trip to the Chinese sees a large Chicken Chow Mein, perhaps with prawn balls or chilli fried beef. We tend to be creatures of habit , as the Indian doesn't deliver and is a 30 minute drive away.

Boody hell, I'm gasping for an Indian now. Haven't had an Indian takeaway for 4 years. Something reasonably hot, perhaps a beef jalfrezi, with fragrant rice, maybe some onion Bhaji's. Mmmmm 😛😛

The dish would have to be a large bowl, to stop curry sauce going over the sides. That stuff stains the furniture and tablecloth, doncha know ? 😀

Same here.

Hottest I've ever had ( and given that I used to go to India regularly on business ) was the Phall at the Weymouth Tandoori
