Can we do to Liverpool what Forest did to Man City? Will we see Sage charging down the side of the pitch when we have scored our 3rd goal? 😎

I can't face watching it, will go to the park & play some street hockey with my 6yr old.

All the best in your future endeavours Pierre, you inherited a train wreck.

If he's going to stick with three at the back, then I think going with experience is the right thing to do. I'd be more than happy to see us defend the 18-yard box, kick seven lumps out of the scousers and snatch a scrappy, undeserved win or draw. It's hard to see anything but a comfortable win for them, but as we know, just when we're at our lowest point is often when miracles happen!

We have been in much worse situations over the years, some that ended in tears. Part of being a true supporter is putting up with the bad times, as well as the good times.

That being said...anyone remember the match where we lost 0-7 to Liverpool at Selhurst a few years ago under Roy. I can honestly say it's the only match I turned off just because I couldn't face to watch it anymore (I think it was 0-6 at that point). Everything Liverpool tried ended up in the back of the net.

This won't be the same (I hope).

It's a more experienced back 3 with Richards, Disasi and Lerma. Plus, Mingueza and Mitchell are more defensive by nature. Is this a sign that Sage realises the importance to him (and us) of today?

We need Timber and Wharton to be right on it and JSL to really step up and be supported by an on fire Pino and Mateta. It's quite a strong bench as well.

I still feel really fearful going in to this game. On the plus side, it could be a real turning point in the season.
