is this just a random crime, or terrorism, or political ?

If Iran sent a ballistic nuke our way or detonated a dirty bomb in London it's goodbye Tehran, most of their infrastructure and their whole military. In theory it is easy to do, especially if you have an existing civilian nuclear program as well as access to the additional requirements through coordination measures with people who can acquire things for a price.
Once the hardest things to get is actually the delivery system. Making it small enough to fit on a rocket/missile is a pain in the butt but developing the guidance capacity is where the rubber meets the road. Most nukes are area weapons instead of point weapons, area simply meaning that you have decided that an entire area need to die as opposed to a specific location (building/HQs/Falmer Stadium).

Absolutely agree. Especially right now with three of the four Vanguards having been out sea at the same time. While the rest of the Royal Navy may be struggling, the most important ships are ready to do serious business if required. If Iran sent a ballistic nuke our way or detonated a dirty bomb in London it's goodbye Tehran, most of their infrastructure and their whole military.
We have 225 warheads and can spare a few.

Random HMS Vanguard Class Fact: The missiles that the Vanguard class utilize are actually leased from a shared pool with the US Navy East Coast SSBN base at King's Bay, Georgia. You can actually watch the submarines coming in and out every now and then before they disappear across the globe.

The third Dreadnought is going to be named Warspite, how could it not be awesome?Understand the one in the garage can still fire.
The Dreadnoughts will be terrifying and we are adding 12 airborne nukes from F35s.
Don't feck with the Brits!

Supposedly, the shooter killed his parents and sister before he shot up the square. The odd part for me is that it was over 90 miles away from the square, so why go there?all my media sources are bending over backwards to tell me that the shooter in Poland was 'Far Right'. And we are not being told that he had any mental health issues ?
doesnt it contrast to their relative silence over some other terror atrocities ?

know it well A nice market square in the centre of town, good for bars and restaurants, they are based around the edges. If you were in the middle of the square not a lot of cover when some nutter opens up.Anybody ever been to the centre of Krakow ? for myself it represents just one more place of terrorist murders that i have missed but for the grace of Chronology. Been to the top of the World Trade Centre 3 months before the planes hit, was on London transport the morning of 7/7, Was at the hotel beach at Sousse, Tunisia, Atoche train station Madrid......once went drinking in Krakow town centre. And obviously all the other attacks in London.
Car accidents & terrorism are not just things that only happen on telly and only to other people. And there go all of us, but for the grace of god.

nearly all of my news-sources have failed to declare him mentally ill. Which is perhaps interesting and significant. Especially when you consider the speed of diagnosis/declaration for many other terror events. If you were in the middle of the square not a lot of cover when some nutter opens up.

I question if someone really is politically motivated if their first action is to murder their own family.

With the very limited information available on him, it looks like he was not only the spectrum but all over the spectrum politically.Decide for yourselves, social media profile was scrubbed in the blink of an eye, his sister was a leftist artist.
I'm reading he was a metalhead & pro antifa but it's far too early to know & to be honest I doubt we ever will
