The ref also didn't think Porro, already on a yellow, should get another even though the foul was given because "the bar is higher for a second yellow".

Tell that to Wharton. I'm sensing a theme with refereeing.

Having only taken a cursory glance at the footage and comparing it to the Mateta 'Red' card, what was apparent is the fact that whereas Mateta lunged at Van Der Ven, Bogle did not hurl himself and did not make contact with such severity.
