CEO Sharon Lacey responsible for Customer Experience on matchday has not got a clue. It is not about pizza and popcorn, it's a football ground. No HF, no atmosphere. Should apologize, bring them back immediately and work with them to get it back to what it was.

Travelled to Istanbul last week, proper ground, proper fans. Best football away day I have experienced. Fans great in Besiktas town as well. Parish and Co are directly responsible for this, poor appointments, club going backwards. Difficult to support their actions.

Agree with this - the matchday experience absolutely stinks at the moment.

We're losing everything that made us special.

CEO Sharon Lacey before being CEO spent years on the development and planning of the main stand!!! Much of what her CV is built on.

Agree The HF brought a lot of energy to the ground I think Parish should be having a serious word with the group and also replace Hobbs and Sage a bit rapid
 
I've not been to Selhurst since 2018, but I can tell from watching on TV or listening to radio commentary that the 'Selhurst Atmosphere' is non existent this season.

There must be some HF members on here who can influence a change of heart. If so - move quickly. Our team desperately needs the 'twelvth man'.
 
Totally agree with everything you all say.

I sit in the Main Stand - and to be fair, the only atmosphere created there derives from the bowels of those who ate the club burgers and hot dogs!

Though I’m still confused why the HF disbanded. I read their statement, but something must of triggered such drastic action. I appreciate we may never know - but they are indeed a huge loss!

I am reminded of the words of Warren Buffett who said "It takes 20 years to build a reputation and 5 minutes to ruin it".

Who should apoligize for what? You sound like you want the HF to take Sharon Lacey's role! They got kicked out, as they thought they were better than other fans and started demanding more from Parish, who has a legal case to deal with from the fat Greek, because of a HF banner.
The performances on the pitch directly have an influence of the crowd atmosphere, not much to get them going.
 
Begging the HF to return would almost certainly make them even more entitled than they were before. If they returned off their own bat, steered clear of the pathetic political statements as well as the banners and did what they started out to be in the first place (a vocal hard core section of fans that improve/create atmosphere) they'd be welcomed by everyone I'm sure.
Problem was they got full of their own importance (not helped by Parish cow towing to them by moving other loyal fans out of their seats) and then when they started bringing their political views into it that as a step too far in my opinion.
I know everyone loves to identify someone is to blame when things aren't going well but its no one's fault the HF have quit. It was their decision. They haven't been treated worse than any of the rest of us (better in fact) and we're still all at the game every week.
