For those that have consistently said selhurst doesn’t need the HF as the atmosphere is excellent without them, do any of you still back that claim, surely the jury is out.

‘Shall we sing a song for you’ the away fans sing. Our atmosphere is awful, such a shame and no it’s not about results, the HF backed the team win , lose or draw. It’s easy to sing when winning, every club does it.

Totally agree,all those people who criticised the HF have been found out. Basically without a couple of hundred vocal HF fans with a drum driving the chants our support is embarrassing,even worse than Fulham!! Even with them our home form was poor!!Now we are so weak on the pitch the lack of atmosphere makes things seem even worse.
Very worrying times, relegation is a very serious threat.
 
After looking too and utlimately relying on the HF to lead the atmosphere over the last 20 years or so, things are going to take time to adjust as new groups and sections are established.

Unfortunately they narcissistic bellends planned their flounce just as the new season started, giving no other group the chance to plan.
 
Absolutely dire atmosphere all season.. It's such an important part of the club and the success. All i am hearing the whole game is people waffling on about this and that and then having a f***ing moan as soon as possible venting their lives frustration through the excuse to complain about football.

In 2011 i moved my seat to the back of B Block to be behind people who want to get vocally support the team, with the ultras gone we just feel like a shitty prem club with no soul or fight..
 
I assume the HF are still there - but just sit quietly in their seats?

At what point will one of them make a stand and get the atmosphere going again. From the best supporters in the country to the ………..

TBH - main stand singing/atmosphere is non existent!

God - it’s been bad before - but after 2 great years, I must have forgotten
 
I think it's quite easy to say, that's was the worst atmosphere since Pre 2003 back when we were a championship club.

I honestly believe we'd have been relegated years ago if it wasn't for the hf being the 12th man.

It's looking like now is our time this is going to happen

Well if the home form is going to be s*** the least the club could do is lay on the people who provide a drum and sing song.. Sitting there listening to mumbling people like i'm sat in a f***ing massive restaurant, then hearing constant moaning with no enthusiasm is dull as f***..
 
If the team performed well at selhurst and all was well at the good ship palace the atmosphere would be fine, let’s not think for a minute the HF would’ve made any difference with the teams performance today
 
Unless the HF have temporarily disbanded due to the Marinakis legal action which is very possible their downing tools is an absolute disgrace. The whole ultra thing involves unconditional loyalty and support. They have shown neither of these. Look at the European teams that have come to Palace. They don’t get the hump and give up..
 
The best atmosphere at Palace was the first couple of years after promotion. It was us against the world. Average players who were warriors and fans who gave everything just for staying up for a year. Depending on our talisman Wilf to rescue us time after time. Proper football. No 3 centre halves, no so called ‘wing backs’. 3 in midfield. Wingers. And bloody hard to beat. Better days than this s*** we’re playing now.
 
The atmosphere is awful HF kept going no matter how bad it was on the pitch I’m in block D and it’s non stop moaning where as the HF provided singing and entertainment to help get through the dross

Agreed Blame Lacey. She wants to turn Selhurst into a US shitshow.
