Besiktas vs. Crystal Palace match thread

[JHB]

Nketiah was so overpriced

He’d be overpriced on a free transfer

[sprites]

Shocking defending for their goal. Timber would've never allowed that much time or space, I have to say.
And dammit Nketiah is bad.

He's surely going to score now.

[grumpymort]

We dont even look like we want to score.

If we dont take control we will lose this game.

I knew Nketiah was a shocking panic buy when I watched his highlights video when we signed him and it comprised of two…yes two scuffed goals.

I blame players for their two goals. Powder piff and switching off

I've noticed Besiktas are just trying to run through the middle now.

God, Khalili is shot to s***. Sage must think Mingueza is a proper c***.

[Part Time James]

Especially as he's using astral projection to commentate from another plane of existence.

Is he brown bread?

No argument there. They weren’t due to the system but lazy bits of play

[grumpymort]

We look like the team which only has 10 men this is very poor.

[Frenchaigle]

they look better with 10 players .
Getting the decisions aswell .

[PalazioVecchio]

they will be angry with C-Unit for getting a red

Totally. And when you think about it, that's all down to on-field leadership. Having players on the field who are going to rip you a new one if you drop standards, or constantly organising and being vocal. Who's doing that right now? Wharton is a great player, but Jedinak / Delaney / Luka he is not.

[grumpymort]

Wharton has been terrible again.

I think he needs someone like Hughes next to him.

Again don't understand what manager is even trying to do here.

Was he a hobbs signing or a freedman one? 🤔

On a lighter note, damn i love that shirt. One of my favourite ever. So gutted it's our 3rd strip.

[PalazioVecchio]

prior to the game i said a draw would be good

[Plumpton eagle]

Very frustrating evening. I would have taken a draw pre game but feel we should have won.

Lots of positives but still suffering from poor defending.

Sage lives on……

Really? IMHO he was pretty good.
