One thing I do know is that a team that regularly concedes 2/3/4 goals a game isn't going to win many matches and will not finish in the top half of the league. It quite simple really.

Aye and for those who say changing the manager won’t work let’s remember what happened when we changed the manager then
I said I would rather have Dyche than Howe. I would rather not have either. But if I had to pick between the two in our position I would put my faith in Dyche to steady the ship.
However it’s just another plaster again like Hodgson was. I thought after Glasner and winning a couple of cups we would move on. I wanted a progressive manager to push us forwards but that is not happening and when the s*** hits the fan you have to protect what we have… our premiership status.
I maintain that Glasner benefited massively from the work Roy did plus we had an exceptional set of players. The defence was well drilled and Glasner just brought the final touch for that golden period.
If not now, soon the process will start again but I worry most that without Freedman we may not find the next Olise or Eze and MG.

I agree with those trying to mitigate the Sage pile on.
That said, he quite clearly doesn’t have a clue. This isn’t a ‘bad day at the office’, it’s symptomatic of the manager’s incompetence.
Beyond that, Parish does have form but needs to swiftly take action and at least acknowledge the sh!tshow and placate justifiably angry fans.
Perhaps Hobbs and Sage gone, some sort of acknowledgment and apology, and adequate replacements brought in.

This is one of the rare occasions I'm embarrassed to be a Palace supporter.
Having followed our club for the best part of 70 years I've witnessed some dire games, but this is one of the worst I can recall.
It's as if our players have only just met for the first time on the bus to Brighton and decided to play a game of football for fun without any idea of tactics or training.
