Brighton vs Crystal Palace match thread

What an awful footballer that Khalili is.

We’re an atrocity and I really think Sage must be sacked now and some sort of apology issued to fans.

Hobbs and Parish need to issue the apology.

My eyes are burning.

[G O Eagle]

Well, Lerma is now coming on. Good timing as we are only 4 - 0 down.

Yes agree

Funny how quick people are to jump on the sage out wagon, he ain’t blameless but f*** me it’s a tall order asking him to do a job with our current squad and the tin pot signings me make

I agree, but that doesn't mean Sage is the right man for these difficult circumstances, or that a different manager might not be better suited to the challenge.

[PatFromSouthCarolina]

I like his enthusiasm but he is a lumbering oaf, every time he's near the ball you expect the worst...

He has definitely regressed. I don’t know how of that is on the player or on the manager/tactics. The best back line I see right now under the circumstances might be Richards, Tomiyasu, and Lerma.

Hobbs needs to f*** off!

The tactics are not right for the team we have.
Sage has not even managed 100 games.
He must have been cheap and beaky

[Plaistow Eagle]

Sage gone tonight..??

[DenTyler]

Glasner could be available this evening for those of you who are more forgiving than I am.

I would rather lose 4-0 to Brighton every week than have that back stabbing c*** back.

You don't even know this is down to Hobbs it's people just guessing and not even understanding how structures work.

Hobbs does not just go out and buy who he likes this is not how Palace works.

[davehuggins]

Things need to change and quickly, we are leaking goals and I see little organisation when defending. We have IMO enough quality to compete but very poor game plan.

[Forest Hillbilly]

More lubricant,..please

[JHB]

In many ways what is most depressing about today is it isn’t a surprise, much less a shock. We could all see this coming and most of us called it out. Shows you what a mess we are in and where we are at under Sage.

We all knew last weekend was absolute robbery given the way the first 30 mins player out. We all knew a repeat would see us hammered by a better team.

Despite all of that Sage didn’t change a thing and we are getting the result we all feared. He is out of his depth

[grumpymort]

NO SP always takes ages to do anything and if he did get rid of him quick we would end up being without manager for ages.

Smart play would be to get new manager deal done with his backroom staff and then get rid of sage.

[AndyPlymouth]

Never would I thought would be so pleased to see JPM coming on.

This game reminds me of when Wigan beat us 5-0 many moons ago when Kember got the boot. A total shambles, battered and totally outplayed in every department
