Just describing your emotions is no answer. We all have emotions, especially when our children are involved. Emotions though don’t provide answers to extremely difficult questions.

So perhaps you ought to think about it because, like it or not, IVF is real, has helped, and is helping, many to have children who otherwise could not but brings with it moral and ethical questions of the type I asked. Questions that must be answered. They cannot be ignored.

I once stayed in an AirBnb in San Fransisco that was occupied by a single lady. It was a huge property. She proudly described to me her weapons. She had a multitude of AK47s, one apparently available within 20 feet of everywhere in the house. Plus a handgun she kept on her at all times.

We survived, but we didn’t complain about anything.

Everyone is ignorant about many things. To know what you are talking about it helps to have researched and thought about it or have experienced it directly. This I have done with the former on abortion, but I haven't with IVF.

Why should I be expected to offer an opinion on something I haven't looked into.

Have that debate with someone who has.

The Ukraine-Russia war was enabled very much by US state policy and it will be ended via the same.

The US have been keeping the war going (despite the properganda) and once the intelligene and money tap is turned off a negotiation can be reached.

Zelensky will try to keep the money tap on anyway he can.....he is in a very poor position. Europe's politicans are now expected to use even more borrowed money to continue this.....borrowed money that they aren't personally on the hook for.

Virtue signalling that has justified my high energy bills for a losing war doesn't make the slightist bit of difference.

It’s not likely Russia can roll over all of Ukraine militarily. But it can bludgeon the country into submission with its attacks on civilian infrastructure over a long period. Trumps actions are helping that to happen.
The war was started by Putin, because he couldn’t bring Ukraine under his influence , only capitulation by the Ukraine people then would have stoped the war, as is the case now. Once the money and intelligence is turned off for Ukraine , and oil deals and the stopping of sanctions is implemented for Russia, it’s more possible Russia, gets another step to getting a result it wants. Completely at odds with what his so called allies would want.
It’s a costly situation and I repeat myself when I say that, If Europe does not oppose this invasion with more than just words then it becomes not just OK for Ukraine, to be invaded but any other country in Europe. It’s the alliance the US has with Europe that is questioned if they aid Russia,in any way.
We all have high energy bills , lots of reasons for that, most just happen to have Trumps fingers all over them.

I've gone over these arguments for years now.

It was nonsense then and it's still nonsense now.

But it's lapped up anyway, I just wish global Policemen like you went out and actually fought the wars you are so keen on others fighting....Some of them press ganged off the street from their families.

But you guys rarely actually go and fight, you just ensure that a losing war continues and the rest of us have to pay for it.

Well, eventually those paying for it decide on better investments....and the US are tired of it as they need the oil.

Because that's what this all comes down to.....money and all this virtue signalling claptrap that you actually seem to believe is behind it....beggars belief, but I've come to accept that people will believe any old crap if a bloke on the telly repeats it enough.
