Putting aside the fact that Brighton are who are they are for most Palace fans, they are a very good side (just ask the PL Champions). They are the league's top scorers so far this season and have the best goal difference. I will be over the moon if we avoid defeat against them on Sunday. Like you I want us to be beating Lyon and focussing on finishing in a top 8 position so as to avoid the play-off round. Winning the Europa League is our best shot at more European football next season and playing in the Champions League would be the icing on the cake.

Remember when Potter was their gaffer and they outplayed us home and away, 40 odd efforts at goal to our one over the two games, but we took four points off them 🤣

When they are flying how many times have we beat them , outplayed and we win . Want to beat Lyon because they was wrongly given our space in europa cup . And brighton goes without saying .
It's my 25th birthday🫣 Sunday , so that would be a wonderful birthday present winning all 3 .
Or it could be I need a new tele on Sunday 🤣

I would say it wasn't Lyon's fault. Then I realised there probably was Textor involvement.
 
We've got some real selection headaches which is a nice problem to have. Would love to see Sarr start and get his sharpness back, but that would likely mean dropping Kamada. Not necessarily a bad thing as he'd be fresh for Brighton. Not sure if Hendo is fit, but I'd go for:

Henderson
Richards - Disasi - Canvot
Khalaili - Timber - Wharton - Mitchell
Sarr - JSL - Pino

I'm predicting 2-2 which I'd be satisfied with. It's important we get top 8 as we can't be dealing with the two extra fixtures like we had last season. We need to go hard in the first 6 fixtures and hopefully we can have the luxury of taking the last group away at Salzburg easy.

Or drop Kamada back into midfield and give Wharton or Timber a rest

Unfortunately, I can’t go the match and I have two spare tickets if anyone is interested. Cost price was £40 from another Palace fan. He paid £46 for the two.

As a starting line up, then introduce if needed, Lyon are nothing special.
 
I'm interested to see how Sage over the season gives opportunities to other players to get minutes when we are playing what can be considered lesser competition.
