I was just thinking that with Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd all saying they should be awarded titles they would have won had the scum bags not cheated, that we should do the same… then I remembered we beat the cheating c**** anyway 🤣🤣🤣

What’s even better and sweeter is those cheating Herbert’s think we cheated and Super Dean should have been sent off. Love it.

Is there a difference between the cups and premier league charges? 🤔 Like are the charges directly related to just league?

Just out of interest

I think the permutations are that great that nobody can say who would have won what had Manchester City not cheated financially
Saying you were runners up doesn't really cut it as you shouldn't have been competing against the team that 'won'

The competitions have been soiled by City , even in cups the team that got knocked out in the first round could say they could have won it had they not faced City

Its going to be a complicated enough punishment process as it is without the ifs and buts ,best just stick to the facts of the matter and put an * against them or rather ,*cheated

It’ll be the first round of the fa cup that city will be competing in next year!!

I look at it this way we BEAT THEM so doesn't make any difference , but also I would let them keep there trophies , yes they broke the rules , but to take this long to pull them up over it is scandalous , the players done nothing more than there job , did any of them say have you been breaking financial rules when they was signed , simple answer no would you , so major points deduction and massive fine will do , that hurts them more , very simple they didnt bribe or kill anyone

Are you sure they didn't? It wouldn't surprise if the proverbial brown envelopes haven't changed hands over the period in question and possibly even subsequently. People who can be as brazen as they seem to have been in cheating are quite capable of bribery.

Though my punishment ideas change every time someone mentions it they should be banned from the PL and FA cup for 5 years minimum .
No they didn't kill anyone but they killed the dreams of many that could have easily included us by cheating .
My one concession would be that Manchester City were also victims of their owners playing Championship manager with all the cheat codes .If they walk away and are banned from ever being involved in football again anywhere the punishment should be reduced to maybe two years

That's the cynical view which I get , but do you think they got every result unfairly , we always say if we was a big club we would get that pen or decisions our way , you know the Liverpool way or manu way lol

I agree, due to this Man City corruption we should go back through all the VAR decisions since it came in and override it with the initial on field decision. Unless it went in our favour, which I think happened once a couple of years ago.

I have no Idea how this will unravel. I am deeply cynical and cannot believe their appeal is not already pre decided.

Assuming they are stuck with the ruling one possibility is that those who were runners up will claim the difference as will those who missed on Europe or who were relegated (cf Everton ordered to pay Burnley)

For the middling teams like us I guess we are limited to one end of season place bonus of about £3m

I was thinking similar, and worked out, just like you - that we wouldn't get much. The worst is for Europe/Champions League and the very worst are relegated sides. Although not sure it's quite the same if they were relegated by loads of points. But any relegated teams could have missed out on potentially 100s of millions. And any who missed out on Europe anything from 15-100 mil.

Ultimately, there will be a class action against Man City won't there? From other teams.

I suspect even Mansour's famously deep pockets are likely to be severely tested...

Assuming they lose their appeal.

But we could force Gary Lineker, Ian Wright and Alan Shearer to give that 2019 goal of the season to Andros Townsend after the c**** handed it to Vincent Kompany.
