Man City Players?

A bit of a tongue in cheek thread but it looks like they are going to be hit hard due to their financial breaches. Given they may end up getting relegated if they are hit with a large points deduction, then there are going to have a large squad of international players who may not want to be playing in the championship ( or possibly a lower division ) I doubt as well if any of the current player contracts will have a relegation clause in them. It will be expensive servicing their wage bill if they are not in the premier league. Uefa may also kick them out of the Champion's League which will only compound the issue.
 
I suspect that if City were to find themselves in the Championship next season, they would look to keep a squad that could win it next year (which they could probably do with their U21 players), and send their marquee players on loan to Champions League clubs until the end of next season. That would keep their star players and their bank manager happy with the loan fees.

Therefore I very much doubt that we will find Erling Haarland playing for Palace any time soon.

There is probably more of a chance that City will sign our young prospects, as they rebuild their next squad for the future, unless they get a transfer ban as well.

That's good. As long as they find a way that we suffer because of what they've done. As well as regarding our cup win as tainted and removing it from the record books of course.

They don’t win the elf trophy so I don’t know why they’d be expected to win the championship. They also would have to find a manager that would be willing to work with no budget and would probably be paid peanuts by a tainted club too.

This club as we know it is finished and they will have to find new owners to build them up and even then they, in my opinion, will never get near the summit again!!

I doubt haaland played in the elf trophy. He’s too tall 🤣
