Not that he had much time, but was the worst player on the pitch for us last night.

And his behaviour after was very interesting.

Even though it was last min, I wonder if we should have just sold him after all? As soon as they show that they are going to cause an issue, it might be best to just move on?

JP settled down after Jan, but I guess he would have been annoyed at the situation, not at the club (as we were letting him go). vs Sarr, who might not get that Liverpool offer ever again.

Our most potent goal scorer, needs to play every game. I don't care about his character traits, as long he scores goals for us.

Looked very surly and disinterested when he came on yesterday then sloped off on his own at the end. He shouldn’t be in the dressing room in that mood however good a player. Any benefits are negated by his damage to team morale and togetherness. If he bucks his ideas up it’s a different story.

If he has any sense he will work hard to get his place in the team back......then get on the end of all the chances Pierre's Palace are going to create......then he will be fighting off Liverpool and similar ....this January or next Summer....sulks etc... will send him back to France or Forest. I know what I would choose.

I'm sure he felt a bit apprehensive about the reception he would get.

And unsurprisingly he looked quite ring rusty.

It could well be that his team mates are waiting to see what he contributes going forward before he is truly re-integrated.

Little does he realise that this sort of attitude gets noted by interested parties. No one wants trouble makers in the dressing room. He may well have ended his career at the top of the English game in one strop.

I fully expect to see him at a Turkish or Saudi club come January. The only downside is likely to be that his strop has also lowered his market value and that does not benefit us at all.

He certainly had somewhat surly air about him last night. Whilst he did get a fairly warm reception when he came on, there were certainly some audible jeers in the crowd.

There's quite a back story to Wissa's transfer. Never made public in the Media.

I don’t think there was anyone to sell him to. Liverpool were never serious and just used an enquiry to us as a means to speed along the Barcola deal. Even if we had said yes to them I expect they would just have pulled out.

It’s a hard thing for Sarr to accept but reality is nobody really wanted him

Sorry to piss in some of your porridge but the guy is a legend and I welcome him back. Lots of agent and media crap has gone on but Sage said he has no problem with Ismaila so that's good enough for me. Not on long enough yesterday to make too much of an impact

You're not pissing on anything. I don't agree - am I pissing on something? He didn't look bothered and I don't believe for one moment that he's been injured. We'll see won't we.
Legends stay connected to the club, clearly Sarr will be off and he won't exactly be Wardy or Dazza.

Sage may or may not have a problem with him but if he’s lost the respect of the rest of the squad he will have difficulty performing at his best.

The offer they made was way below our asking price. Suggest he reads his contract and then apologises to Parish as Liverpool only valued him at £35m and that is what they offered. Of course he could have made up the difference of c.£20m himself? No.... thought not.
He needs to get his head down, focus on his football at Palace and then show the football world he is worth £70m, but that Parish will probably still take £55m. Oh, and he also needs to get rid of the slime ball that represents him.

It's a tricky one, particularly of there's a perception amongst the other players that Sarr is not fully committed.
At the press conference Sage was asked about dropping players.
He said it's based on what he observes in training and he's trying to drive up the intensity and performance levels which means everybody gains.
A high performance culture I suppose.
Perhaps Sarr is showing this intensity in training, even if unhappy.
If he's not doing this, Sage could be open to accusations that it's one rule for Sarr and one for the others.
Sage said Sarr was ready to play at Leeds, but not for 90 minutes.
